The workshop “Circuit QED: from Quantum Devices to Analogues on Superconducting Circuits”
aims at bringing together theorists and experimentalists working in the field of superconducting (SC) circuits to discuss the present status of the research in Circuit QED (cQED), the opportunities for developing new devices suitable for investigating fundamental physics through analogues on SC circuits, and their applications in quantum information, metrology, sensing and, in particular, quantum simulation of quantum field theories on temporally modulated geometries and/or curved space-times.
The workshop hosts a Special Session on Microwave Quantum Detection (MQD) organized on the platform of the SUPERGALAX project which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (see https://agenda.infn.it/event/31349/).
